The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a CCBHC and Grant Manager to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. The Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) & Grant Manager is responsible for ensuring full agency compliance with all Federal and State CCBHC certification requirements and all Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) CCBHC Grant requirements. This position is also responsible for management of grant writing, data collection, budgetary/financial and programmatic reporting of all internal and external grants that fund The Guidance Center. The CCBHC & Grant Manager serves as a member of The Guidance Center's Leadership Team.

Primary Duties:



  1. Oversees the generation, implementation and adherence to all policies, procedures, and directives to ensure all aspects of CCBHC Certification, the SAMHSA CCBHC grant, and all other TGC grants are properly managed.





  1. Participates in self-study and conducts outreach to other CCBHC resources to serve as TGC's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CCBHC Certification and the SAMHSA CCBHC Grant.





  1. Maintains knowledge and experience of behavioral health services and service delivery. Position Description CCBHC & GRANT MANAGER Page 2 of 8





  1. Provides overall oversight and leadership for all aspects of the SAMHSA CCBHC grant, including ensuring that grant activities discussed in Section B and Attachment 4 of TGC's application are implemented as proposed.





  1. Ensures and reports to SAMHSA on key program requirements, including any delays, barriers/challenges and strategies overcome these.





  1. Meets on a regular basis with the SAMHSA Government Project Officer.





  1. Ensures that all report requirements are submitted within the required timeframes.





  1. Alerts SAMHSA of any upcoming changes to key staff and submit the required post award amendment request for SAMHSA approval of new proposed key staff.





  1. Responds to SAMHSA requests for information within the requested timeframes.





  1. Coordinates and oversees all compliance visits/audits for CCBHC status.



EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, human services, public health, rehabilitation sciences, family studies, or behavioral health sciences)

OR

* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as education, criminal justice/criminology, public administration, healthcare administration, business administration, or data analytics.

Preferred:

* Master's degree in behavioral health, public administration, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: At least three (3) years of relevant experience that demonstrates growth in responsibility in one or more of the following areas:

* Federal grant management, including compliance, reporting, and fiscal oversight.

* Project or program management within a behavioral health, healthcare, or human services setting.

* Oversight of patient-centered or community-based care operations.

Preferred:

* Previous experience with CCBHC operations, SAMHSA-funded programs, or other federally funded behavioral health initiatives.

* Familiarity with SAMHSA standards, reporting platforms, and federal grant compliance requirements.
