How you will make history here... The Sr CPL is responsible to lead successful commercialization of new products and costs savings of existing products to deliver both top and bottom line results in line with the Campbell's US Retail Strategic Plan. The position will manage a portfolio of projects to deliver from $50MM NS up to $300MM NS, from idea conceptualization through to product on shelf and success in market utilizing the commercialization process and stage gate methodology. You will excel in project management, have strong communication skills to collaborate with peers, and be able to engage with Category Vice Presidents and Research & Development leaders. Your role will require intermediate to competent understanding of business and financial acumen, with practical application, to make informed decisions. You will be adept at interpreting and adjusting to situations with conflicting goals and will require minimal coaching from your manager. In addition to project management, you will be responsible for delivering process improvements, with a continuous improvement mind-set. What you will do... * Project Leadership: Lead high-impact, complex, cross-functional commercialization initiatives through the stage gate process, ensuring precise execution and alignment with strategic priorities. Develop and manage project schedules, proactively identifying risks and removing barriers throughout the project life cycle to enable timely, successful delivery * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence and align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, cultivating strategic partnerships to drive collaboration and accountability in a highly matrixed environment. Facilitate clear decision-making and ensure sustained alignment amongst team members with diverse expertise. * Communication: Deliver clear, strategic communication across multiple levels of the organization - including Category Vice Presidents and R&D leadership - leveraging storytelling capability to provide actionable insights, influence decision-making, and elevate visibility of key risks, milestones, and interdependencies * Financial Acumen: Apply intermediate to competent understanding of business and financial acumen in practical ways to guide project decision-making, resource allocation and ensure value creation. * Conflict Resolution: Effectively navigate and resolve cross-functional conflicts by aligning diverse priorities, facilitating collaboration, and maintaining a clear focus on strategic business outcomes. * Autonomous Leadership: Require minimal coaching or supervision from your manager, demonstrating a high degree of self-motivation and independence in project execution. Who you will work with... You will work with cross-functional commercialization partners. What you bring to the table (must have)... * Bachelor's degree required, Supply Chain, Technical or Project Management concentration preferred. * 5+ years of related experience in project management, product commercialization and/or CPG manufacturing/supply chain. It would be great to have (nice to have)... * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred * Detailed knowledge of innovation tools and processes, Stage Gate, and early stage iterative development process * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Must be able to analyze and process large amounts of information, identify and effectively manage priorities, and follow through on all commitments * Intermediate to competent understanding of business and financial acumen * Strong leadership and team management abilities * Excellent Microsoft Office skills, and the aptitude to quickly learn and apply new concepts/tools. Microsoft Project experience preferred * Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate within a cross functional team environment * Ability to effectively communicate with several different functional areas and levels within the organization * Strong presentation skills, including written documentation and oral presentation of project status on a monthly basis * Effective time management skills required to maintain multiple projects Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $112,200-$161,300
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
