Business Unit: Repairs

Position Reports to: Rental & Retail Sr Manager & Tune Shop Supervisor

Positions Reporting to this Role: None

Location: Crystal Mt. Washington

Wage Range: $20.00 - 21.00 DOE + tips

Job Description for Tune and Repair Technician: Tuning, mounting and repairing of ski and snowboard equipment. Helps in maintaining rental & demo fleets. Cleans and maintains shop equipment daily. Must provide high standards of service. Provide customer service and sale transactions. Responsible for cleanliness of work area and maintaining correct till and cash drops. Maintaining proper inventory levels on Ski and Snowboard Bindings and Parts. Takes pride in shops successes and has the ability to solve guest issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior tuning experience desired
  • Ability to work as a team and take direction
  • Passes all ski binding and machinery certifications (certifications will be provided)
  • Knowledgeable about the products we carry/sell
  • Maintains Rental & Demo Ski and Snowboards board fleet
  • Ability to use a POS system.
  • Always maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • The ability to upsell products
  • Handles customer issues


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS- Bullets below are examples- please customize for specific role.

  • This position requires us to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate heavy machinery, computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
