Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.

Responsibilities:
* Performs hand-welding operations with close visual attention in the hand/eye coordination process
* Takes care in blocking, clamping, or holding parts in relative position to avoid distortion * Operates welding machine and regulates currant and voltage for proper fusion of metals
* Adjusts wire, feed, power and gas as required
* Operates shears, punch presses, and press brakes to provide assistance as required
* Performs materials handling functions including preparation of inventory transaction
* Maintains quality of products
* Learns to use Statistical Process Control to control the manufacturing process and eliminate waste
* Performs time studies to keep process times correct
* Designs and implements process improvements
* Performs specified preventative maintenance on equipment
* Learns and observes safety and good housekeeping practices
* Takes extreme care in handling welding equipment to prevent serious injury or damage to themselves, other or the facility
* Schedules work as required to meet production requirements
* Adjusts personnel assignments to assure rotation
* Resolves capacity problems by personnel movement or obtaining assistance

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 2+ years of experience in TIG and MIG welding.
* 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading

* Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
* Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Ability to identify routine problem causation, and correct routine problems, and willingness to learn.
* Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions.
* Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others.
* Must possess ability to work well in a manufacturing environment.
* Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.

Preferences:
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
* Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
* Ability to understand and interpret information in the form of graphs, blueprints, reports and other forms of data and information.
* Knowledge of pipefitting skills.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in West Chester, PA no travel.
