Hourly Rate: $75-$90 per hour

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced OEP COOP/DR Specialist with an active Top-Secret (SCI eligible) clearance to support a federal client. This on-call position (2-3 times per quarter) will support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of secure network infrastructure and play a key role in maintaining the client's continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.

What You'll Do



  • Operate, maintain, and perform sustaining engineering support for network systems.
  • Provide core network services including DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain systems to manage end-to-end configuration of network systems, verifying accuracy regularly.
  • Support and maintain continuity and disaster recovery plans, including participating in exercises and ensuring readiness of mission-essential services (email, network drives, IT resources).
  • Support IT security personnel, including participation in architecture and change review boards.
  • Manage IP address configuration data within designated management systems.
  • Grant and manage network access according to agency procedures.



What We're Looking For



  • Must hold a current, active Top-Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
  • 5+ years of experience in a secure network environment.
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Strong experience troubleshooting LAN/MAN/WAN outages and connectivity issues with service providers.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and progress reporting skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Experience mentoring junior network engineers.


Preferred: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Security, or related field.
