Job Description

This position provides frontline office support for the Sinclair School of Nursing through a combination of administrative, technical, and student-facing tasks. Responsibilities include:

  • Front Office Reception: Greet and respond to general questions in-person, email, teleconference (zoom) and telephone. Maintain front office coverage. Perform duties with punctuality, attendance, and a high level of customer service
  • Undergraduate and Graduate Program Admissions Processing: Utilize multiple software programs and applications to organize and process student applications. Software may include interviewing platforms, student databases, survey software, etc.
  • Reports: Use campus data resources to generate student reports as requested.
  • Graduation Processing: Basic data input in MyZou (PeopleSoft).
  • Graduation Ceremonies: Take a lead role in planning, organizing, and execution of SSON graduation ceremonies.
  • Prospective Students-Recruitment: Assist with campus visits and recruitment for prospective students including scheduling, presenting information, and follow up messaging.
  • Support Advisors: Assist with projects as needed in undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Scheduling: Assist in maintaining Outlook calendars for Student Support Staff.
  • Maintain flexibility to assist with other duties as assigned to support the student services department, faculty, staff, and students within the SSON.
Shift

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online platforms
* Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Displays strong customer service and positive attitude
* Detail-oriented and efficient.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable with a strong attendance record

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Grade: GGS 07
