JOB TITLE: Vivarium Assistant JOB PURPOSE: Aid the Biological Sciences Vivarium in smooth operations to ensure an efficient and safe working environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the daily care of research animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health. Ensure compliance with all institutional and federal regulations regarding animal care and use. Cage changing, scraping, and washing Washing water bottles, cage lids, food hoppers, etc. General Vivarium maintenance COMPETENCIES: Attention to Detail Oral Communication Safety Awareness Teamwork MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent.
