Highlights of the Surgical Tech Endoscopy Role **The Surgical Tech at Mass General Hospital plays an important role in the operating room and is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, as well assists with the peri-operative care of patients. **Our environment is fast-paced, energetic, collaborative, and innovative Fourteen procedure rooms, two scope processing areas and one motility room. **This role is an assistive role in providing patient care and other duties related to the preparation and maintenance of the GI Endoscopy suite environment. Shift requirement for Surgical Tech Endoscopy role **40 hours (4'10's), Monday through Friday 7am to 5:30pm or 7:30am-6pm. One weekend shift every 6 weeks. One holiday every 12 months. On call Sunday and Holiday requirement is 8am-8pm. No overnight call.
