As aSafety Consultant at APS, you will :

Major Accountabilities
1) Plan, develop, implement and audit comprehensive safety programs to assist management in achieving corporate safety goals. 2) Survey facilities and operations for safety, environmental, fire and industrial hygiene risks and provide assistance with development of action plans to correct problems. 3) Interpret new safety/health regulations, design appropriate policies and procedures and advise management on preferred course of action. 4) Audit the activities of safety committees and provide technical assistance to them. 5) Maintain an effective safety/health resource library to provide assistance to all departments. 6) Counsel management, employees and union representatives to ensure consistent interpretations and revisions of the accident prevention manual. 7) Represent the company with Federal and State OSHA Agencies. 8) Provide CPR, First Aid and other designated training to identified employees.
