Description A large automotive company is looking for a Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join their team at their labs. This person will be working on cutting edge software-defined vehicle development programs. They are targeting individuals with IoT experience with strong programming skills in C and Python. Rust programming experience is a plus. Also familiarity with Raspberry Pi and Arduino is a plus. This role must be onsite at least three days a week, but will be onsite even more often than that up to 5 days a week. They will be working hands-on with the actual product that is onsite at the lab. Skills C, Python, and Rust Top Skills Details C and Python Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Summary Embedded Systems & Hardware Interfaces oHands-on experience with single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone) and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, STM32). oFamiliarity with Controller Area Network (CAN) technologies and protocols used in automotive and industrial applications. Lab & Testing Equipment oProficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools for hardware debugging and signal analysis. oSkilled in setting up and executing test procedures for embedded systems and electronic components. Programming Languages oExperience in C for low-level embedded development. oFamiliarity with Rust for safe and concurrent systems programming. oProficient in Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis. Experience Level* Entry to Mid Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
