As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a critical role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and build strong relationships through your approachable and professional demeanor. Pay Rate: $17.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address questions and provide assistance related to security-related matters.
• Document all incidents and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
