Responsibilities

As an Aerial Lineman, you will support overhead construction and repair of RF, fiber, and coaxial services. You take pride in doing the job right, striving to be the best, and tackling challenges head-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety by wearing proper PPE and following all company and industry safety standards; maintain tools and equipment in operational condition.
  • Perform pre-install telecom construction duties, handling larger and heavier cables prior to final installation.
  • Climb poles or operate a bucket truck to install, relocate, and maintain aerial plant.
  • Read and interpret schematics, construction prints, and work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field as they arise.
  • Work as an integral part of a team to ensure project success.
  • Work with both fiber and coax, including replacing coax trunk lines (commonly 500+ counts) and performing basic coax splicing to feeder lines when needed.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Safety-focused with a hands-on approach and proven track record of quality work.

  • Experienced Lineman with 2-3+ years of aerial lineman experience in pre-install telecom construction, handling larger and heavier cables.

  • Comfortable climbing poles and operating bucket trucks and mini excavators.

  • Skilled in fiber and coax; coax splicing experience preferred.

  • OSHA 10 required (20/30 preferred).

  • Team-oriented and flexible, willing to work overtime as needed and on-call on a rotating schedule.

  • Valid Driver's License (CDL-A preferred) with clean record; able to obtain CDL-A within 120 days.
