The Job Oversees and manages BI-focused large-scale, cross-functional program(s) and/or multiple medium to complex projects from initiation through completion under very limited supervision as directed by the Project Sponsor and/or Senior Executive Team using Safe Agile framework. Monitors, facilitates and expedites operational tasks for each BI team. You Will
- 65% - Initiates, plans, executes, monitors, controls and closes large scale, cross functional and/or multiple medium to complex projects and/or programs (defined as a collection of projects and services which together achieve common business goals and strategic initiatives with potentially long implementation time frames). Will manage several projects simultaneously.
- 35% - Monitors, facilitates and expedites operational tasks for various BI teams. Acts a counterpart to BI Team leads to accelerate operations activities and allow BI Team leads more time to focus on product quality, standards and architecture.
- Manages activities within the standard PMI process groups including; initiation, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing. Utilizes PMO project methodology, tools and templates to uphold project-to-project consistency, excellence in standards across projects and principles of practice within the PMO.
- Initiates project by working with sponsor(s) to develop project scope including goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Works with the project sponsor(s), business manager, functional managers in gathering business requirements, current state assessments and/or project requirements to develop preliminary project documents.
- Develops and manages the activities within all PMBOK knowledge areas including; integration, scope, time/ schedule development, cost, quality planning, project team, communications, risk and procurement. This includes defining tasks and developing; high-level and detailed timelines and project plans and other project artifacts.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Act as a servant leader by supporting development teams, addressing blockers, and promoting self-organization.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear definition of Epics, Features, and Stories related to the migration project. Maintain and manage a product backlog, ensuring user stories and tasks are prioritized and refined based on value and dependencies.
- Act as the primary liaison between the technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and impediments. Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, including sprint progress, burndown charts, and key metrics.
- Identify, document, and address risks, dependencies, and impediments related to the migration process. Facilitate resolution of bottlenecks during the migration of large datasets and integration with the Snowflake platform.
- Work within the SAFe framework to support Program Increment (PI) Planning and contribute to the program backlog refinement and prioritization. Align team objectives with ART (Agile Release Train) goals and ensure consistent delivery across iterations and program increments.
- Mentor team members and other scrum master's on Agile best practices and help them grow in their roles. Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among data engineers, architects, and analysts.
- Executes the project by leading the work of the project resources (internal and/or external). Ensures project team is actively participating, collaborating and coordinating amongst team members as well as with other projects and/or business operations.
- Monitors and controls all aspects of the project by measuring progress and correcting courses when project goes beyond scope or is not meeting goals and objectives. Ensures project remains on timeline by managing schedules and resources and removing barriers. Works with project team, sponsors and/or Sr. Director BI to negotiate changes such as scope, timeline, deliverables and integration points.
- Provides consultative services to project team for project management, organizational and/or cross-functional discussions. Ensures project is identifying and considering all potential impacts throughout the company and raises these considerations if the project team has not identified them. Provides consultative services to other projects that have integration points and/or impact to project to ensure collaboration and efficiency between projects.
- Manages project risk by identifying, planning for, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate or minimize risks and monitor findings, and monitoring risks throughout the project. Appropriately escalates risks and/or issues to Sr. Director BI and steering committee and/or sponsor(s) as needed. Facilitates or assists with conflict resolution within project team.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience; Graduate level degree preferred in healthcare, project management or business administration.
- PMP & Safe Scrum Master certification required. If not certified, relevant experience is required with expectation of certification within agreed upon timeframe after hire.
- Strong understanding of systems in a Healthcare setting; prefer 4-6 years' experience working within healthcare industry.
- Advanced understanding of project management with a minimum of 8 years work experience in project management, 5 Years with Scrum Master prefer 10 years work experience.
- Working knowledge of BI technology and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and experience in group motivation skills.
- Demonstrated capability of strategic thinking and planning for short- and long-range goals.
- Strong skills in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and problem-solving. Strong background in collecting requirements, analyzing data, analyzing inter/intradepartmental processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required; with experience in formal presentations, ability to appropriately and effective address diverse audiences, including senior executives, and ability to effectively facilitate group interactions.
- Proven self-starter, excellent organizational characteristics, quality minded; able to work independently and with very limited supervision.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency required in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project Professional.
- Adapts to changes in priorities and assignments quickly and efficiently and is flexible with project assignments.
- Solid hands on knowledge of SAFe Agile principles and practices.
