Sr Radiology Systems Specialist

Responsible for the installation, testing, training and maintenance of Radiology PACS and other technology platforms supporting Radiology operations. Responsible for creating a filmless environment and integrating imaging equipment with PACS. Provide ongoing support to system users at both Hospital and outpatient imaging centers.

REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or other related field and two (2) years Information Systems experience in Healthcare or Radiology office environment; - OR - An Associate's degree and five (5) years experience in Healthcare or Radiology office environment.

2. Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently

3. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and applications.

4. Demonstrated ability to produce detailed documentation.

PREFERRED:
1. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of radiology workflow and applications

2. Ability to manage small projects independently

3. Able to develop maintenance and support plans

4. Ability to identify and recommend improvements to software and hardware
