Peer Mentor-Tutor

A current doctoral student is needed to serve as a peer mentor on Project SACRED. Project SACRED trains doctoral level scholars for work in higher education where they conduct intervention research related to mental health and behavioral supports in k-12 schools and train special educators and behavior analysts. The peer mentor should be a more experienced doctoral student who can (a) mentor new students on doctoral study, (b) have experience with the content of the Project (e.g., mental health and behavioral supports), and (c) provide academic tutoring in key courses such as statistics/research design, and (d) help students acclimate to Penn State and the surrounding community.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
