As one of our Lead Warehouse Associates, you will independently perform a wide variety of warehousing functions including providing direction and training to Warehouse team members, investigating and resolving discrepancies, shipping, receiving, organizing inventory, and cycle-counts, with a focus on either Inbound or Outbound operations.

What you will do:

Act as a lead for the Warehouse team which many include assigning tasks, monitoring quality, troubleshooting complex issues and alerting management to any potential problems.

• Oversee the Warehouse in the absence of the Distribution Manager.
• Train team members and provide informal coaching. Provide input into performance management and hiring decisions.
• Ensure high levels of safety and housekeeping.
• Perform a wide variety of Warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory, loading, picking, and packing.
• Prepare Bills of Lading & assist with other administrative duties.
• Assist Manager in continuous improvement and optimization activities.
• May assist with Facilities needs.

What you need to succeed:

• Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to effectively provide daily guidance and direction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to be self-directed and complete complex tasks with limited direction.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Planning and time management skills including the ability to handle shifting priorities.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and/or other shipping software.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Salary Range: $25.40 - $33.34/hour
