As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing inquiries and assisting with guest needs. Pay Rate: $14.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel, resort, and casino location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel, resort, and casino staff to address security-related matters and provide support as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
