Pay:



  • Annual Salary of $77,000


Provide leadership in the development, direction and integration of the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent Programs, both under the AmeriCorps Seniors Program, to meet the needs of the communities in Minnesota and North Dakota. Provide leadership in the development, coaching and mentoring of staff. Serve as one of the Older Adult Services team leaders and collaboratively ensures implementation of the Older Adult Strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field required
  • Master's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred
  • At least five years of experience in directing/managing services is required
  • Experience in social ministry, older adult, service development, grant writing, collaborations and organization development is desirable
  • A driver's license is required
  • Able to take initiative to solve problems as well as capitalize on opportunities in such areas as new business, revenue sources, and attracting and retaining qualified staff, which requires creativity, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Able to function very independently in a variety of roles
  • Able to interact/network with many different individuals from different interest groups in society, in a manner, which encourages initiative and positive cooperation
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
