SummarY: The Fabric/Leather Purchasing Associate is responsible for communicating with our vendors and teams domestically and overseas in order to obtain the necessary information required to maintain continuous flow of fabrics and leathers needed for domestic production.

Responsibilities:



  • Track production and shipments with all vendors to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Compile, organize and disseminate information for vendors such as performance, report cards, delays, etc.
  • Manage and maintain information for different compliance programs.
  • Closely track new introductions deliveries.
  • Back-up resource for other team members, as necessary.
  • Must be extremely versed in the creation of spreadsheets and manipulation of same.
  • Processing invoices for payment
  • Set up new market introductions
  • Other duties as necessary.



Requirements:


  • High school graduation.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, internally and externally via email or by telephone.
  • MUST be detail oriented.
  • Possess solid computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel) and experience with an ERP system.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
