Remote

This role is 100% remote and has a remote work schedule.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or a relevant field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least (4) years of technical sales or marketing experience in the general or additive manufacturing industry with a proven track record of significant and measurable success.
  • Required demonstrated ability to exercise strategic creativity and independent judgment in business development.
  • Valid Driver's License absolutely required for extensive regional and national travel.
  • Experience in creating presentations that translate product and benefits into measurable, quantifiable cost savings.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development and flow through an organization and purchasing procedures is required.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the US for customer calls and meetings.
  • Requires an ambitious and optimistic personality with an aggressive approach to selling and business development, a reputation of integrity and a track record of creatively satisfying customer needs, a strong track record of developing and growing business with an existing customer base as well as aggressively pursuing new business through cold calls and other prospecting avenues.
  • Must be comfortable in a business development and sales environment with revenue targets.
  • Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy: a strategic vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed and evolving business unit structure.

Preferred Experience

  • Ideal candidate has technical sales and/or marketing experience in additive manufacturing industry and has been involved in product planning and commercialization.
  • Ideal candidate has been in a sales or business development position selling products to industrial companies across multiple sectors, preferably aerospace, defense and semiconductor.
  • Ideal candidate has product development and manufacturing experience preferably in metal additive manufacturing processes, and/or polymer processing technologies (e.g., machining, injection molding, etc.)
