Power BI & Reporting Specialist (Norfolk, VA) - Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a Power BI & Reporting Specialist to design and deliver enterprise analytics solutions as part of our migration from Cognos/Java reporting to Power Platform. This role will focus on enabling data-driven decision-making through visually compelling dashboards and robust data models.

Responsibilities include:

• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
• Replace Cognos reports with Power BI solutions.
• Develop DAX measures, row-level security, and data modeling best practices.
• Optimize queries against Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Lake sources.
• Partner with stakeholders to design KPIs and analytics solutions.

Here's what you need:

• 4+ years of BI/reporting development experience.
• 3+ years building Power BI dashboards and models.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, M (Power Query), and data modeling.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Synapse and Azure Data Lake.
• Knowledge of data governance, RLS, and compliance frameworks.

• Active Secret Clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid/mostly remote with the ability to attend meetings in Norfolk during business hours with little notice.
