Exciting opportunity at MSK: Epic Portfolio Manager - Imaging

Join MSK as a Principal Portfolio Manager for Imaging, where you'll lead Epic initiatives across Radiology and imaging services. Collaborate with clinicians and technologists to optimize workflows, from scheduling to PACS integration. Drive innovation, streamline operations, and enhance patient care through impactful governance and cross-portfolio collaboration.

Role Overview

  • Oversee Epic portfolio supporting Imaging services across inpatient, Radiology, and back-office imaging domains.

  • Manage intake and prioritization for Epic development across diagnostic and procedural imaging activities.

  • Lead Epic projects to enhance workflows including protocoling, scheduling, PACS/RIS integration, and interventional imaging.

  • Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, referring providers, and hospital operations teams to ensure workflow alignment.

  • Drive optimization of ordering, scheduling, image viewing, documentation, and charge capture.

  • Coordinate across portfolios (ambulatory, perioperative, inpatient) to maintain continuity in imaging workflows.

  • Translate service ideas into Epic design and manage through build, review, and testing.

  • Partner with Epic Training and operations staff to support implementation and tool adoption.

  • Facilitate governance workgroups (monthly, quarterly, annual) to provide updates, secure decisions, and align priorities.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Radiology operations or healthcare IT.

  • 2+ years' experience managing Epic projects, ideally within imaging domains.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.

  • Epic Radiant certification and/or strong understanding of oncology imaging workflows preferred.

Core Skills

  • Deep knowledge of Epic Radiant design, imaging workflow optimization, and clinical integration.

  • Ability to collaborate with clinicians, executives, and cross-functional teams to align technology with care delivery.

  • Strong risk analysis, governance facilitation, and portfolio management expertise.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday

  • Location: Hybrid; 3x a month (with flexibility as needed) at 633 Third Ave, New York, NY

Pay Range: $149,200.00 - $246,300.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
