Retail Associate

As a Retail Associate, you'll be the heart of the customer journey. You'll greet and assist customers, provide product information, process transactions, and ensure the sales floor is well-maintained. Your positive energy and dedication to customer satisfaction will play a vital role in creating a memorable shopping experience.

What You'll Do:

• Create a welcoming store environment by greeting every customer with a smile and providing friendly, attentive service.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth transactions and adherence to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor, assisting with displays, inventory management, and general store upkeep.
• Proactively address customer inquiries, offering assistance, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with the team, sharing feedback and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and operational guidelines.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to lift 25lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Proficiency in problem-solving and process improvement
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Understanding of basic business metrics and their application in a retail setting

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $14.27 to $15.86 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
