Merchandise Assistant

As a Merchandise Assistant, you'll be the backbone of the creative studio and visual merchandising team, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the visual presentation of compelling product displays. Your meticulous organization and keen eye for detail will be essential in managing samples, supporting studio setup, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of fashion, working behind the scenes to bring creative visions to life. You will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of product samples, ensuring the studio is a well-oiled machine, and supporting the team in executing impactful visual merchandising strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and organize seasonal product samples for the creative studio and visual merchandising team.
• Track sample arrivals, maintain accurate records, and communicate any delays or issues.
• Assemble and maintain sample racks and closets, ensuring easy access and efficient organization.
• Support studio set preparation and maintain overall studio cleanliness and efficiency.
• Assist with seasonal projects and coordinate sample donations with the visual merchandising team.
• Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and support team goals.
• Assist with studio photography.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in retail, studio, or sample management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, email, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $22.94 to $25.49 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
