Human Resources Administrator As a Human Resources Administrator you will provide support to employees at our Benton, Arkansas facility while aligning site-level goals with the initiatives of the Corporate Human Resources function. This role is critical to maintaining a strong organizational culture and will assist with employee relations, performance and training needs to ensure an efficient and positive employee experience.
This position will play a key role in onboarding and maintaining employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Essential Functions & Requirements:
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Assists the Human Resources Manager with onboarding tasks including the completion of documentation, filing, etc.
- Schedules new hire and annual physical exams; assists Human Resources Manager with the drug screening program as needed
- Completes data entry and filing of all employee corrective action documentation
- Assists the Human Resources Manager in representing the Company in any unemployment claims
- Manages employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, or supervisors; escalates complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel
- Maintains responsibility for fulfilling documentation/filing requirements for various local, state and federal employment programs as needed
- Completes all employment verifications in a timely manner
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation adjustments, disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, recognition, retention and morale, occupational health and safety and learning and development
- Assists with data and information collection and tracking including building queries, searching data, creating spreadsheets, sorting and confirming data accuracy for business initiatives as needed
- Maintains the ability to work overtime as needed to support various department / site initiatives or events
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in an office environment (required)
- Previous experience in human resources (preferred)
- Previous experience utilizing HRIS platforms, specifically UKG (preferred)
Competencies:
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Effective time management with the continuous ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
