About this Role:

The Accountant I is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the company. This entry-level role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. The Accountant I will collaborate with the finance team to manage day-to-day accounting activities and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations as required for a timely month-end close.
• Prepare and present balance sheet and income statement results and associated analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of outstanding items.
• Assist in coordination of the internal and external audit process.
• Assist in the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

Do You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to take initiative, be inquisitive and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitments to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to be flexible and enthusiastic.

Even Better:

• Experience in JD Edwards and Strategy is desirable, but not required.
• SQL experience.

College degree and 1-3 years professional level experience; or 5+ years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
