Job Summary

Join our dedicated logistics team as a Forklift Operator, where your skills will directly support efficient order processing and inventory management in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This full-time position offers an essential role in maintaining smooth operational flow and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Primary Duties
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently within warehouse premises.
  • Receive, move, and place products in assigned areas, ensuring accurate storage and handling according to company protocols.
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders by picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment.
  • Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety standards and procedures, including reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to update inventory status and order processing details accurately.
  • Assist in inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting, standing, and operating machinery for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift operator certification or relevant training is an asset. Previous full-time work experience in warehouse operations or order processing roles will be advantageous.
