Overview and Responsibilities
Summary We are seeking a dedicated Biomed Manager in our Murray, KY facility. In this position, you are responsible for managing the daily activities of a repair and fulfillment facility for home medical equipment. Oversees all aspects of repair, procurement, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping. - 100% in-facility work, possible +/- 10% travel outside of Murray, KY
- Conducts themselves as a role model of professionalism
- Create team-buildingand a collaborative environment throughout facility
- Develops comprehensive and strategic plans to reduce cost and improve quality
- Develops training plans for immediate and long-term performance improvements and growth opportunities
- Identifies employees for promotions or transfers and initiates system status changes
- Maintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes process to evaluate company's compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Maintains safe operating practices to meet all federal, state and local regulations
- Manages to meet all repair and shipping expectations SLA's
- Manages procurement, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping
- Monitors and controls the company assets
- Oversees departmental procedures supporting preventive maintenance, repairs, shipping and inventory tracking for home medical equipment
- Participates in preparation for compliance audits against JCAHO standards
- Provides daily management of direct reports
- Provides ongoing identification of opportunities for process quality and efficiency improvements
- Provides senior level project management, management support and strategic leadership initiative as needed
- Provides various daily, weekly and monthly reports to senior management
- Responsible for hiring, on-boardingtraining and managing performance of warehouse supervisor and staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Employment is contingent on

- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- College degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Three years+ experience in Home Health Industry, preferred
- Previous management experience required
- Advanced level skills in Word and Excel Microsoft programs
- Advanced level skills in various computer software programs related to tracking equipment repairs and inventory items.

- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
