This Physical Security Program Manager serves as the regional point of contact for all matters related to the bank's physical security program, working directly under the Director, Physical Security. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing physical security policies and procedures in accordance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Actively participates in the development, execution and evaluation of the security program, demonstrating a clear understanding of operational impact, and regularly provides informed recommendations and solutions to enhance overall security posture.

What you will be doing:

  • Administer and maintain the regional physical security program in alignment with physical security policies, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all regional physical security matters.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the integration and centralization of security systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency.

  • Supports departmental strategic objectives by overseeing the physical security needs of all nearby facilities, including conducting site surveys, threat and vulnerability assessments, and business continuity threat assessments.

  • Coordinate and support implementation of security controls (e.g. access control systems, surveillance, intrusion detection).

  • Identify and communicate any key areas of risk to the Director, Physical Security and engage in security and compliance related discussions involving key stakeholders.

  • Lead initial responses to security incidents, coordinating with internal stakeholders and law enforcement and other relevant safety and security agencies (e.g. FBI, Secret Service, DHS, etc.) as necessary.

  • Support investigations and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

  • Acts as Bank after-hour emergency support contact for potential criminal activity and/or safety concerns as needed.

  • Identify additional supporting cast and call tree personnel across the branch and admin network. Utilize alarm and camera integration model when establishing call tree set up.

  • Ensure adherence to internal physical security policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor security operations for compliance and recommend corrective actions as needed.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for installation, maintenance, and repair of physical security systems.

  • Review and validate vendor performance and service levels.

  • Promote physical security awareness across the region through employee engagement and dissemination of training materials.

  • Provide security-related guidance to local staff and business units.

  • Participate in facility planning (e.g. openings, closings, relocations) to ensure security requirements are integrated.

  • Provide input on security infrastructure design and upgrades.

  • Provide regular updates and status reports to the Director, Physical Security and Business Resilience.

  • Escalate issues and propose solutions to improve security operations and posture.

Who you are:

  • Required 4 Year / Bachelors Degree criminal justice, Information Technology or related field

  • Required 7 loss prevention, law enforcement, bank operation, and/or security Preferred 1 Leadership/Management experience

  • Preferred: APP, PSP, or CPP security certification

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Power Point, CAD applications and Internet.

  • Proficient in Genetec, DMP, and Solink camera and access control systems (Preferred).

  • Familiarity with programming, troubleshooting, and basic operations of surveillance and access control systems.

  • Works independently with little to no supervision while providing clearly documented status and progress of work activities and business issues impacting the department.

  • Requires excellent human relations and communication skills to be able to assist Managers and Supervisors with discrete security issues.

  • Must have the ability to make administrative decisions and excellent customer service skills.

  • Must be able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements.

  • Be able to travel between the bank locations and periodically commute for security purposes (15- 25%).

  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changes and be a self-starter.

  • Possess effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Exemplary motivation, enthusiasm, and professionalism.

  • High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiar with construction documents (CAD, Floorplans, etc.) for security design review on new/existing projects.

  • Consistently demonstrate tact, discretion and good judgment

  • Demonstrates ability to coach and lead teams.

  • Conflict resolution skills

  • Must be familiar with standard investigative practices

Salary: $79,750.00 - 139,730.00 annually

AIP/Bonus: up to 10%

Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
