- Facilitates employment opportunities for non-custodial parents referred by the Pennsylvania Court System, helping them achieve economic stability through meaningful work.
- Conducts targeted job searches aligned with each participant's qualifications and matches them with employer requirements.
- Develops a broad network of job opportunities by actively engaging with local employers and workforce partners.
- Maintains frequent and proactive communication with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work arrangements, and training initiatives.
- Builds and sustains strong relationships with area employers to support ongoing placement efforts and workforce development.
- Provides recruitment support to employers, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and hiring assistance.
- Maintains an up-to-date listing of local job opportunities and labor market trends.
- Collaborates with case managers and court representatives to facilitate successful job placements and monitor progress.
- Engages community and business leaders to raise awareness of workforce services available to court-referred participants.
- Conducts follow-up with employers to assess satisfaction and identify areas for service improvement.
- Coordinates employer presentations, job readiness workshops, and hiring events tailored to the needs of program participants.
- Organizes job fairs and hiring events, occasionally working outside standard business hours to meet program goals and deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support program success and participant outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years work experience in business to business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experience
- Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Sales or staffing experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work well in teams and independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well in teams and independently
- Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance required
