You will work on Extrusion supervisor will ensure frontline leadership and production personnel responsibilities are being performed safely in accordance to policy, up to and including (but not limited to) ensuring employees are wearing proper PPE according to the JSA for the position/task being performed. (Example: hard hat, gloves, long-sleeved company issued shirts, face shield, safety glasses, hearing protection, footwear etc.) Extrusion supervisor will manage, give direction, and positively motivate the department's employees to support a culture of good housekeeping and organization. Achieve high performance through cultivating a team atmosphere, and continually improve press performance through efficient time management, high standards for quality, and self-accountability, safely. Supervisory positions may encompass differentiating responsibilities and doesn't necessarily maintain one structure set to define the position. Your qualifications and skills SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Effective/professional communication skills Ability to use and navigate Microsoft Outlook efficiently Knowledge of operating/database systems; Oracle and SCS Must be capable of reading micrometre, dial callipers, feeler gage, and protractors Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a larger team Generalized understanding of each jobs function and duties 3+ years of manufacturing experience Hydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
