Essential Responsibilities:
- You will own your own project(s) with support from the NTI Engineering team
- Day-to-day work will include:
- Contribute to technical project plans for new or upgrades to existing test equipment
- Contribute to New technology project(s) with research, calculations and Analysis
- Develop prototypes and conduct design of experiments and Analyze data
- Troubleshoot testing, Critical thinking, and designing solutions to key knowledge gaps in project(s)
- Develop HVAC and technical expertise
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineers, test technicians and Manufacturing experts to accomplish project(s)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal coursework in the areas of measurement systems, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, and/or strength of materials
- Experience with testing expertise, and simulation tool expertise (MATLAB, Python, Dymola, EES, etc)
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better
- Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $29/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
