About the team

Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer Specialist - Quality Assurance Specialist Function in Cincinnati, OH to lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.

What you will be doing

The Software Engineer Specialist - Quality Assurance Specialist Function will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation. Additionally, the role will:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure their resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and best practices.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

• utilizing software quality assurance using tools including TOSCA and RestAssured; working with SAFe Agile methodology using JIRA, Confluence, and Rally;
• working with Webservices and utilizing POSTMAN for backend and API testing;
• utilizing SQL Server or Postgres and Cassandra and Snowflake database technologies;
• performing test automation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and five (5) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policy. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
