Are you ready to take on a high-impact leadership role that drives Cencora's long-term strategy and business success? Reporting directly to the Head of the Office of the CEO, the Senior Director, Enterprise Performance will oversee the enterprise Business Management System (BMS)-a critical framework that ensures the health and progress of our priority initiatives and business performance.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Finance and Strategy Execution teams to craft consistent and actionable plans for priority initiatives, deliver data-driven insights, identify risks, and guide senior leadership in achieving key business performance goals. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and the effective use of enterprise resources.

  • Priority Initiative Plan Development
    • Working closely with the Strategy Execution team, build strong relationships with BMS initiative owners to create consistent priority initiative execution plans and identify performance metrics to deliver organizational commitments and ensure accountability
  • Performance Tracking and Insights
    • Serve as a trusted senior leadership advisor, delivering monthly priority initiative performance reporting, insights and analysis, as well as resource needs across the enterprise
    • Partner closely with Finance and Strategy Execution Team to create meaningful executive insights including areas of risk and opportunity
  • Governance and Process Execution:
    • Develops, executes and manages BMS governance model, including collaboration with Finance and Strategy Execution teams and leadership engagement cadence
    • Establish effective processes and rituals for the successful integration of the BMS as a newly established management tool, including monthly/quarterly processes as well as longer term processes such as annual reprioritization exercises as part of strategic and annual planning cycles
    • Leads key meetings on BMS topics including setting agenda, prioritizing deep dives, and providing insights on challenges and opportunities
    • Facilitate leadership discussions focused on problem-solving and efficient decision making that supports a customer focus and growth orientation
  • BMS Dashboard Product Management
    • Oversee the BMS dashboard working closely with Finance and IT teams to deliver an automated and accurate tool to monitor business performance and strategy execution
    • Create a product roadmap (e.g., data automation, additional metrics/data views to provide greater insights, connectivity to our ongoing digital transformation and specifically Cencora's Project Portfolio Management system)
    • Lead ongoing technical enhancements to the BMS working closely with our Data and Information team
    • Manage data governance working team
  • Organizational Support and Change Management
    • Partner with the Office of the CEO' s Strategic Initiatives team to heat map enterprise activity and leverage for resource allocation, change management support and other organizational needs

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 10 years financial analysis or strategy development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field/focus area; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Background in management consulting, strategy development and finance preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong financial, data technology and business strategy acumen
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.
  • Proficiency in data visualization to clearly present data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to working with data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization (Power BI) and cloud-based platforms (Databricks, Azure).
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and their application in data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy principles is a plus.
  • Ability to develop insights, influence outcomes without direct reporting authority and drive results across enterprise teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage senior-most leadership, navigate organizational dynamics and engage stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight time frames
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Superior leadership-level presentation skills
