Job Details

The Financial Solutions organization builds and enhances enterprise-minded solutions supporting our financial planning and management reporting processes, consolidating business unit results, and performing financial analysis of business operations. By incorporating efficient financial processes, tools, and quality datasets, we can drive better business insights, decision-making and improved associate experience. The Senior Manager - Financial Solutions will report to the VP of Financial Solutions and manages and develops direct reports. This role is responsible for executing key strategic projects supporting the Finance organization and leading the validation of consolidated results across Cencora's platforms (Hyperion EPM, Data warehouses, Business Objects, etc.) The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator, cross-functional collaborator and strong problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Define what is "one source of the truth" for financial results and partner with key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Operations, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Accounting) to integrate financial needs, process improvements, and technology into a strategic roadmap that prioritizes resources aligned to our Cencora growth objectives.

  • Drive self-service and automation solutions.

  • Support the monthly month-end close process by analyzing consolidated results for management reporting. The team performs financial reconciliations across (Hyperion EPM, Data warehouses, Business Objects, etc.) and makes long-term recommendations that drive effective reporting solutions.

  • Coordinate and prioritize projects as needed.

  • Ensure that financial plans and monthly/quarterly analyses are accurate, complete, and timely

  • Administer Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) application in partnership with SAP IT to drive allocation of profitability by use case.

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting and IT to deliver allocation entries during month-end close.

  • Drive Data Governance standards across Financial Management Reporting.

  • Create and monitor governance data rules, provide support to business stakeholders, and certify financial data sets recommended for management reporting.

  • Keep business partners, stakeholders, and manager informed on project roadmaps, track progress, communicate status, resolves dependencies and issues, evaluate risks and results.

  • Ensure to provide transparency and accountability.

  • Partner with Financial Systems Center of Excellence (FSCOE) on implementation of projects to integrate and enhance Cencora's strategic modeling, financial reporting and planning processes across the enterprise system network.

  • Be lead Finance stakeholder and support key Cencora initiatives such as Finance 360, digital transformation, onboarding acquisitions, SAP migrations, etc.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of initiatives

  • Create and deliver hands-on pilots, presentations and training materials to communicate and explain tools and technology concepts to colleagues, the business as a whole and development teams.

  • This role serves as a power user on an array of Financial Reporting Systems (Including: SQL Databases, Smart View/Oracle EPM, SAP COPA/HANA, Alteryx, PowerBI)

  • Willingness to travel

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred with emphasis in Finance, accounting or related business and technology degrees.

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related experience in a Commercial Finance or FP&A setting

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience in financial systems and data mining tools (e.g., Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, SAP, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL, and other query and reporting tools

  • Experience in building roadmaps and logically sequencing recommendations, while accounting for parallel or dependent initiatives

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement; ability to synthesize complex ideas or scenarios into a simple and concise manner

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cross-functional teams within and outside of finance (e.g., Accounting, Commercial, IT, HR, etc.)

  • Demonstrated career progression in roles with increased influence and leadership

  • Ability to work effectively and build trust with people at all levels in an organization

  • Experience influencing in a large, matrixed, global environment

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
