This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative duties to support the campus, and primarily the assisted living level of care.
In this role, the Administrative and Operations Assistant will:
- Assist with staff scheduling and coordination of resident appointments and transportation needs, including on-site medical provider visits.
- Complete computer (Word, Excel, Publisher, OneNote) assignments which may include: preparation of billing, central supply ordering and inventory tracking.
Regular assistance updating resident electronic medical records and assist in the annual updating of resident information. Maintain inventory of office supplies and distribution, keeping a list of supplies to be ordered and keeping the copier supplies in order for residential and healthcare. Provide support for administrative and large community events. Provide support for administrative meetings by coordinating meetings, setting up meetings, and taking meeting notes, including staff training and orientation. Routine filing of resident information. Process invoices for final administrative approval. - Provide training and support for new initiatives and new staff.
- Special projects as assigned by the administration office.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical staff regarding daily care and administration of services.
- May assist with direct care within scope of training and scope of practice to ensure resident needs are met.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school education or equivalent.
- One year of related office experience providing clerical or administrative support.
- Requires at least two year experience in healthcare setting.
- Highly organized, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written in English.
- Ability to remain calm in an emergency situation.
- Complete confidentiality when circulating general information
- ProficientMicrosoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors and general public and have an interest in and desire to work with older adults.
$20.50 - $23.50 per hour
Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.50 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
