Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Accurately log received goods into inventory systems.
  • Pick, pack, and label items for outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare shipping documents and generate labels for carriers like UPS and FedEx.
  • Organize and stage outgoing shipments in designated areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Communicate with supervisors or leads about any shipment issues or delays.
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Good attention to detail when checking and recording shipments.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Clear communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward safety and teamwork.
