This Company is an indirect consumer finance company operating in all US states. We focus on financing the sale of water treatment, home improvement, and other products through an independent network of dealers. Approved dealers use our loan platform applications to submit consumer applications for credit, receive approval on those applications, and complete the loan process.

A Sr System Administrator is an essential IT professional who is responsible for providing a reliable work environment for the organization. Scope of responsibility includes server and network performance, security, and all other areas that keep the organization's IT systems running smoothly. Provides coverage to Network Administrator, acting as their backup. Sr System Administrators must have an in-depth understanding of computer software, hardware, and networks and are highly skilled, valuable members of the organization. At a high level, Sr System Administrators are responsible for system performance, design, and reliability, and the security and optimization of computer systems.

Duties:

Duties:



  • Maintain Microsoft Intune implementation for standard
  • Package and maintain third party applications to be deployed
  • Suggest, identify, develop, and implement infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot to maintain network and infrastructure reliability
  • Support and oversee systems including Active Directory / Azure Active
  • Directory, M365, Veeam, print server, group policy, and network security * Deploy and maintain virtual machines in a VMWare / ProxMox environment
  • Manage data center hosts and storage
  • Maintain server operating systems and software
  • Manage and monitor backups and recovery, offsite archival, and disaster recovery
  • Engage and oversee the monitoring, analysis and management of server and workstation health, including review of system logs, disk space utilization, processor and memory utilization as well as patch, backup, and threat and vulnerability defense
  • Engage in setup, analysis, and troubleshooting tasks related to basic and intermediate information of technology hardware and software, including installation or replacement of hardware components, cabling, peripherals, drivers, software, customization of system settings, and resolution of end user issues
  • Work with vendors to trouble shoot network infrastructure, hardware VOIP, and software, and other issues as appropriate
  • Daily Monitoring using SEIM
  • Perform system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, firmware updates on networking and related equipment
  • Monitor Service Request tickets and/or Help desk tickets for assignment; resolve, update and close as appropriate.
  • Responds to L2 IT help desk requests and provides remote or desktop assistance with user requests
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all server, network, hardware, VOIP, software, equipment, and configurations
  • Create and update knowledge base articles to provide procedures and guidance to IT staff and users, as appropriate
  • Offers technical support and training for staff.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven abilities in Windows-centric desktop and server environment
  • Mastery of basic TCP/IP Skills
  • Foundational understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, split-zone DNS, routing, firewalls and wireless technologies, messaging systems, virtual technologies, and remote access technologies
  • Proven technical, analytical, data collection and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience using power shell in a windows server environment, as well as Azure and M365
  • Preferred candidate will have ongoing training and certifications, such as:


o Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE) o Oracle Linux System Administrator (Oracle) o Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) o Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

o CompTIA Server+

VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) o Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
