About the Position...

The Facilities Officer (FO) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.

The Facilities Officer (FO) will be responsible for responding to various internal requests for facilities and equipment repairs and maintenance. This position will be responsible in determining the nature of the request and/or problem, identifying a solution, finding an appropriate vendor, obtaining price quotes, obtaining necessary approvals, placing orders, tracking orders, scheduling, and coordinating the necessary repairs, delivery and installation. They will alert the Chief Operating Officer of any reported outage or unsafe condition immediately. The FO will travel to our various locations on an annual basis to perform site surveys to determine a variety of things including but not limited to: determining if any repairs are necessary, confirming that all services are operating, ensuring that all locations are properly maintained, and that there are no unsafe conditions present. This position will also work with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on maintaining lease files, as well as reviewing and comparing CAM expenses to lease agreements and related amendments. This position will also assist the COO with tenant improvement projects including space planning, vendor selection, construction bids, project management, site visits and inspections, purchasing, and other duties as assigned. The FO will also manage the records retention and destruction process for the Bank. The FO will work with the Director of Information Technology on various projects and will also work with the Security Officer to ensure that the Security Policy and related procedures are always being adhered to. This position assists the COO with a variety of duties and projects as assigned. This position will complete all tasks and responsibilities accurately, timely and efficiently and according to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Also, the FO will interact with employees and vendors courteously, timely and professionally always. Excellent communication is vital to the success of this position, as well as excellent project management. Travel is required in this position.

Education & Certification(s) Required:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.


Required Knowledge:



  • Knowledge of and understanding of basic facilities related topics such as plumbing electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, procedures, strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people, property, and institutions.
  • Understanding of project management.


Experience Required: Minimum of three years' experience in a similar capacity.
