YOUR OPPORTUNITY



We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in our Kansas City or Guymon, OK office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team. This hybrid position blends traditional recruiting duties with active management of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment tools. You'll own the end-to-end recruiting process while also ensuring our recruitment technology is optimized, data is clean, and hiring workflows run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Recruiting



  • Develop recruitment profiles for current and new positions; collaborate with hiring managers to understand role scope, and candidate criteria.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
  • Review and ensure job descriptions are clear, accurate, and compelling to attract qualified candidates.
  • Source passive and active candidates through various channels and methods.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to manage employer branding via job ads, social media, radio, and billboards.
  • Participate in university career fairs and recruitment events to support staffing goals.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates across multiple functions.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and assist with hiring decisions.
  • Draft and extend offer letters and support preboarding activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates, hiring teams, and leadership.



Applicant Tracking System Administration



  • Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ensure accurate candidate data entry and compliance.
  • Assist with metrics and utilization of recruitment resources (ZipRecruiter, indeed, LinkedIn)
  • Train hiring managers and team members in ATS usage and workflows.
  • Design and execute enhancements and automation initiatives for the hiring process within the ATS platform.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track hiring metrics and KPIs specific to the recruitment team needs and ensure proper set up on ATS system.
  • Oversee job postings on both internal and external job boards to maintain consistency and proper advertisement placement.

QUALIFICATIONS



Required:



  • BS Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, boolean search, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of hiring processes, interview techniques, and employment laws.



Preferred:



  • 1+ year of experience administering or managing an ATS.
  • Tech-savvy with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities.
  • Comfortable working with data to make process improvements and hiring decisions.



SCHEDULE



  • This position will be on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

  • Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the operational locations.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.
  • After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
  • Typically, 10% per year travel is required to attend career fairs, operational locations and for team meetings.
