The Payroll Operations Specialist (Part-time) role provides critical support to the organization's payroll function by serving as the primary backup to the Senior Payroll Administrator. This role ensures continuity of payroll operations, promotes timely and accurate timesheet submissions, and assists with employee onboarding and payroll tax inquiries. The PT Payroll Operations Specialist collaborates closely with HR, Finance & Accounting, and all other staff to maintain compliance, support employees' understanding of payroll procedures, and uphold internal control standards. This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week, with additional hours as needed during peak payroll periods or when covering for the Senior Payroll Administrator. In addition, this role will temporarily support the organization's transition to a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system over the next 12-15 months. These activities may require increased hours during key implementation phases. This position will report to the Corporate Controller. Responsibilities:
