Who we are looking for:

ASCO is in search of a passionate Manager, Marketing Operations and Data, to join our Integrated Communications and Marketing (ICM) department. A successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, data-driven marketer that is passionate about marketing technology, data, and process optimization. The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving our digital campaigns, data integration, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize workflows in Adobe Campaign to support marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, paid social), customer outreach and notifications, reporting and analytics, and other business needs.
  • Develop and streamline processes to reduce friction in campaign execution and enhance operational efficiency, including identifying opportunities for automation and adopting new platform features.
  • Support the Director, Digital Marketing Operations & Analytics in leading marketing audience strategy, including targeting and segmentation, list development, and personalization.
  • Support data enablement within Integrated Communications & Marketing (ICM) by troubleshooting and maintaining workflows and integrations that manage the flow of ASCO's data between tools and vendors, partnering with BI and IT teams to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic email marketing campaigns for ASCO programs and services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for ASCO's audience data, marketing technology platforms and marketing operations best practices, to improve campaign planning and results.
  • Manage external email vendor partners or contractors as needed.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a marketing agency, internal marketing department, or association
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Campaign including building queries
  • 2+ years of experience with project management applications i.e. Airtable, or a similar program (Monday, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex challenges, with the ability to develop creative solutions

ADA/Physical Requirements

Fast-paced office environment.

High use of computer and other office technology equipment.

Travel

1-5 days/yr
