The Role

We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and service-focused individual to work in our IT Department as an IT Support Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly and prompt technical support to Curi team members and guests. This is an entry-level position that offers a great opportunity for those new to the IT industry. Reporting to the Senior Manger End-User Compute, you will be the first point of contact for Curi users requiring technical assistance, covering a wide range of IT questions, support, and end-user training.

Key Result Areas

  • Respond and resolve user technical issues via chat, email, or phone
  • Help with documentation of new and existing policies/procedures
  • Collaborate with others who may have varying skillsets to complete assigned work on time
  • Easily adapt to changes based on organizational priority
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operating system, software application, hardware, and related equipment
  • Create, maintain, and deploy laptop images
  • Test new technology
  • MacOS experience

Key Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role required
  • Available to occasionally work on-call / after hours (rotating schedule)
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to the Raleigh, NC OR Edina, Minnesota office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Associate degree with an IT focus or completion of a Trade School program preferred
  • CompTIA A+ preferred
  • Microsoft certification or equivalent preferred
  • Apple Certified Support Professional preferred
