We have an opportunity for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in Brookfield, WI, supporting our Residential Water Treatment (RWT) business. This business manufactures both water filtration (Point-Of-Use) and complete water systems (Point-Of-Entry) products used in residential and light commercial applications. Reporting to the Sr Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales organization conducting day-to-day business and executing the strategic priorities of the RWT business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to partner cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to directly impact business development and growth for this exciting and successful business!

** The office for this business is in Brookfield, WI. You will work a hybrid work schedule (3 days / week onsite) to strategize, collaborate, and learn from the team. ** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Analyze sales data, create reports, identify trends, and highlight pipeline gaps or process inefficiencies.
  • Act as the Salesforce CRM power user and internal advocate to align the system with business objectives by driving adoption, optimization, and ensuring clean data with timely updates.
  • Maintain and execute basic Salesforce.com CRM dashboards for the organization.
  • Coordinate and support sales forecasting, account planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization to create the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) targets.
  • Partner with the Sr Sales Operations Manager on sales enablement tools such as training, Salesforce engagement, and continuous improvement projects to enable sales team to sell more efficiently and consistently.
  • Develop cross functional relationships with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams to coordinate and manage projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
  • Have 2-5 years of experience partnering with and/or supporting field sales professionals, including promoting technology usage, developing dashboards and KPIs, and/or supporting sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, strong analytical skills, and ability to analyze and make inferences from large amounts of data.
  • Experienced using a CRM software, such as Salesforce.com.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and/or analysis. Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and experience supporting or partnering with field sales team members.
  • Ability to utilize multiple tools, databases, and/or software to produce a variety of reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel (1-2 trips/year) to support sales operations activities.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
