Bunge is seeking aRegional Operations Manager to lead our critical regional oilseed crush activities. This pivotal role will drive operational efficiency, foster a world-class safety culture, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple plant locations, directly impacting our strategic business goals.   • Strategic Operational Leadership:
    • Direct and optimize all functions of oilseed crush operations across multiple plants
    • Develop and execute comprehensive annual operating plans, monitoring performance and guiding plants to achieve ambitious financial and business objectives.
    • Champion and drive operational excellence, continuous improvement (CI), and lean methodologies throughout the region to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
    • Oversee annual capital expenditure planning and execution for facilities, ensuring integrity, growth, and strategic alignment.
    • Deliver impactful quarterly presentations to the Bunge Chevron Ag Renewables Board, providing strategic insights, operational performance updates, and contributing to high-level decision-making.
  • Safety & Environmental Stewardship:
    • Lead and champion a zero-incident safety culture, directing robust safety and environmental programs.
    • Proactively identify and implement improvement opportunities to ensure an injury-free and environmentally responsible work environment.
  • Talent Development & People Management:
    • Cultivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Plant Managers and their teams.
    • Implement effective performance management strategies, including goal setting, objective tracking, constructive feedback, and skill development.
    • Actively supervise, motivate, and mentor Plant Managers and other operations talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
    • Attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent to maintain a competitive and skilled workforce.
  • Best Practice Implementation & Performance Optimization:
    • Identify, standardize, and transfer best practices and standard operating procedures across all regional plants.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze production volumes, costs, quality metrics, and yields at all locations, initiating corrective actions and driving performance improvements to meet or exceed targets.

Qualifications & What You'll Bring:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical strongly preferred) or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience:
    • 10-15 years of progressive and successful operations management experience, preferably within a multi-plant regional scope.
    • Demonstrated experience in crush and refining manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
    • Proven track record of driving significant, measurable improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and team performance.
    • Experience with acquisition strategies and integration is highly desirable.

Skills & Attributes:

    • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams across various locations.
    • Outstanding people management abilities, including a strong record of developing, coaching, and mentoring staff.
    • Deep expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) and a passion for driving operational excellence.
    • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and capital expenditure oversight.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Ability to travel regularly to plant locations within the region, expected travel ~30%.
