Position Summary:


The primary function of the operations specialist is to support the Branch Managers in the functions of operations, fleet management, and IT support. The Operations Specialist adheres to and promotes safety, corporate policies, and procedures. This person will work closely with the Branch Managers to meet mutual goals, assist in other work-related activities as needed, and guarantee the genuine customer service our customers' demand.



Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Support Branch Managers in managing operational costs.
  • Actively anticipate operational risks and create solutions and/or preventative measures.
  • Assist Branch Managers with MORA inspections.
  • Handling of customer orders and inquiries in accordance with CBSI policies
  • Learn the customer invoicing process and oversee company adherence to such processes.
  • Responsible for reviewing the invoice register daily and keeping it up-to-date and clean of old items.
  • Understanding the payment process of all non-material bills such as utilities and general supplies.
  • Play a key role in achieving operations goals set by the Branch Manager
  • Assures compliance with the Safety and Loss Control Program
  • Support the Branch Managers in managing the Gator Gypsum fleet.
  • Manage all aspects of equipment, ordering equipment, managing cost of equipment, maintenance costs, and repair costs.
  • Manage, implement, and train on DQ installation.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the systems installed in equipment.
  • Responsible for vehicle registrations
  • Coordinate all equipment transfers between branches and assist with paperwork associated.
  • Order IT equipment as directed by Branch Managers.
  • General IT support as needed.
  • Manage Risk Console.
  • Responsible for education and training on Risk Console.
  • Responsible for the general appearance of the office, store, and bathroom Branchs being kept neat and clean.
  • Responsible for overseeing the general repairs and maintenance of the office, store, and bathroom Branchs including the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.



Basic Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong Microsoft office skills

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 70% of the time.
  • Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
