About the role

The Manager of Automation & Enterprise Integration is a visionary technology leader responsible for architecting, executing, and scaling enterprise automation and integration strategies across global business functions. This role combines strategic oversight, technical expertise, and leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives, optimize systems architecture, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions. The Manager will lead global teams, foster innovation, and ensure seamless orchestration of workflows, data, and platforms across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency with strategic leadership, enabling enterprise-wide automation that accelerates business outcomes. This leader partners with C-level stakeholders, product owners, and business leaders to embed intelligent automation into the organizational fabric, enabling data-driven decision-making and digital-first operations.

What you'll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute a long-term automation and integration strategy aligned with corporate goals and digital transformation objectives.
  • Champion Intelligent Automation (RPA, AI/ML), API-led integration, and cloud-native solutions to enhance scalability and agility.
  • Oversee full lifecycle management of automation programs
  • Develop structured rollout strategies, stakeholder communication plans, change enablement strategies, and governance models.
  • Design and govern integrations across enterprise platforms (ATS, VMS, ERP, CRM) using RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Manage automation platform ecosystems, vendor relationships, and performance optimization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to future-proof automation and integration capabilities.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test scalability and integration potential, documenting best practices for future projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leader on all automation and integration matters.
  • Lead enterprise working groups and steering committees to ensure alignment across business, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and high accountability within the team
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global team of engineers, architects, and analysts across automation and integration functions.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About you

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading enterprise automation and system integration initiatives.
  • Bachelor or higher-level education in Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise HR or staffing technologies such as Workday, SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar VMS platforms preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate) and workflow orchestration tools.
  • Deep knowledge of integration patterns, cloud-native architectures, and API-first principles (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional, global teams and delivering complex technologyprojects at scale.
  • Proven experience building and governing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices in enterpriseenvironments.
  • Expertise in Agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $180,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon's incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
