About the role

The Manager, Technology Relationship Specialists provides critical leadership across Managed Service Program (MSP) support functions, overseeing the delivery and evolution of Vendor Management System (VMS) and workforce solution technology solutions. The role is responsible for cross-functional coordination, continuous process improvement, and promoting the adoption of new technology features. Reporting to the Head of IT MSP, this leader is responsible for driving performance against SLAs, aligning technology strategies with client goals, and ensuring support solutions deliver maximum value throughout the customer lifecycle. This role is central to maintaining consistent, high-quality service delivery and operational scalability.

What you'll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and mentor a team of Technology Relationship Specialist, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Manage team performance, training, and development-including conducting midyear and annual reviews.
* Provide project tracker oversight, prioritizing post-go-live support efforts across multiple clients and programs.
* Collaborate with various leaders and clients on strategic initiatives and roadmap planning.
* Define, monitor, and drive team performance metrics with a focus on SLA attainment and resolution quality.
* Continuously assess team workflow to improve response times, increase efficiency, and elevate the client experience.
* Deliver post-implementation consulting to internal teams and MSP clients, driving best practice adoption and feature enablement.
* Define, document, and maintain VMS workflows, end-to-end process standards, and operational documentation.
* Evaluate client-specific processes and propose alternative solutions for improved outcomes and scalability.
* Act as a client-facing technology leader, providing consultative support, strategic guidance, and solution recommendations.
* Facilitate regular check-ins, feedback loops, and satisfaction assessments with internal and external stakeholders.
* Serve as a VMS subject matter expert for SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and other enterprise platforms.
* Coordinate software upgrades, release communication, and client impact assessments.
* Partner with VMS vendors and internal teams on new feature feasibility, integration opportunities, and enhancements

* Signoff for feature-fit validation testing, change requests and ensure alignment between proposed solutions and MSP objective.
* Improve internal SOPs, user guides, and technology enablement resources.
* Liaise with cross-functional support channels (e.g., reporting, back office, supplier support) to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
* Support client-specific training plans, both for internal teams and end-users.
* Ensure consistent customer experience across all VMS applications and programs.
* Partner with leadership to define and execute onboarding and training plans for new hires and ongoing upskilling for existing team members.
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

About you

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in data analysis, technology implementations, or standard data migration.
* Minimum 3 years of staff managerial or supervisory experience.
* Hands-on experience implementing or supporting VMS tools such as SAP Fieldglass, VNDLY, Beeline or like technologies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
* Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
* Strategic thinker with a strong customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to drive timelines, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
* Knowledge of MSP technology applications and workforce solutions platforms.
* Ability to travel 10% annually, both domestically and internationally.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $120,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon's incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
