Our Payments Team is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer III to join their Data Services team. Their team's mission is to establish the long-term data strategy to provide the most innovative and efficient payment processing solutions delivered with unparalleled customer service and support. In this role, you will be providing backend support utilizing your exceptional SQL to enhance, modernize and create reports that are vital to our organization and clients. We have flexible hours and are a team of A-players who give 100% but also know the importance of recharging and allowing time for the people we care most about.

The salary range for this position is $78,400 - $110,000, depending on candidate experience and location.

This position can work out of any Jack Henry office location or remotely from within the United States.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provides analysis, design and development utilizing SQL and SSRS. Debugs and resolves data errors.
  • Proficient in SQL toolsets to manage extraction of data from source systems, data mapping into various data structures, both relational and dimensional, and fulfilling custom report requests.
  • Creates reports and dashboards using the appropriate BI toolsets.
  • Provides guidance on business analytics offerings.
  • Provides internal and external customer support.
  • Provides technical documentation as appropriate.
  • Develop processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues.
  • May serve in an on-call rotation to cover issues and requests during non-traditional business hours.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of SQL Report Development using SSRS.
  • Experience with SSIS and/or other ETL tools.
  • Ability to recognize sense of urgency to satisfy time-sensitive client requests.
  • Must be able to work after hours and weekends as the business need dictates.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems and make recommendations for remediation.
  • Experience with developing with MySQL in a Cloud-based platform - preferably AWS.
  • Strong skills in PowerShell or other scripting language.
  • Experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of dimensional and relational modeling practices.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
