Duration: Temp-to-Direct for the right fit (after a min. of 520 hours worked)

Pay Rate. $52 per hour on W2 without benefits

Shift Timing: 9 am-6 pm Mon-Thurs (somewhat flexible); 9 am-5 pm Fri. -- w/every other Fri. off

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Job Captain with expertise in Revit software to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture, a minimum of six years of local U.S. experience, and a proven ability to lead project documentation and coordination efforts. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Lead the production of construction documents and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining design intent and quality standards.
  • Revit Expertise: Utilize advanced Revit skills to develop detailed architectural drawings, models, and documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants to coordinate project workflows and resolve technical challenges.
  • Code Compliance: Work with the project Architect to ensure all documentation adheres to applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Support client presentations and communication by providing technical expertise and addressing project-related inquiries.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design and construction issues, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional architectural experience in the U.S., with a strong understanding of local codes, standards, and construction practices.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit software is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction documentation, detailing, and building systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Licensure: Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred but not required.
